Eilish Nevin took part in Sue Ronan’s Republic of Ireland U.19 team as they drew with the Dutch counterparts 1-1 in Richmond Park, Dublin last Tuesday. Two days later, in another 1-1 draw with Holland at the same level in the AUL Complex, Dublin, Aoife Herbert played her part in that game. Both girls put in serious performances and both have been named by Sue Ronan in the squad to face Switzerland away.

She starred in an under-16 international for Ireland against Northern Ireland in May, 2001. She was selected as one of the strikers.
Edel Kilcourse, Ballyhaunis.
She played in goal for Ireland in an under-17 international against England in June, 2001.

Niamh Devaney, Straide & Foxford United.

She had the distinction of wearing the No. 1 jersey for Ireland in an under-17 international against England on away soil in June 2001.

 

 

Louise Fahy, Ballinrobe Town.

Starred in goal in an under-15 Schools Home Nations international tournament in March, 2002.

Ashling Concannon, Ballinrobe Town.

Starred in goal in an under-15 Schools Home Nationals international tournament in March, 2002, alongside her club mate, Louise Fahy.

Claire Egan, Westport United.

Won a total of ten caps with Irish (Under-18) ladies team from 1998 to 2000. A native of louisbugh.

Ashling O'Callaghan, Westport United.

Now on the books of Shamrock Rovers, Ashling was capped for three times by the Irish (Under-18) ladies team in 1997.

Helena Lohan, Knock United.
A native of Shrule, Co. Galway, she played in the Mayo League before being selected by the Irish (Under-16) girls team in 2000.
